You know what they say about assumptions?

What assumptions do people make about you? Are they right or wrong?

Most people make the assumption that I am stuck up and like to cuss a lot. Now the last part is true. Curse words flow forth from me like a fountain and that is not going to change anytime soon.

Now I know there are people out there right now saying ‘I am offended by cussing!! It’s so unladylike!”

I am personally offended by people that hurt animals and kids but if you need to get offended by words than you do you.

The stuck up part always makes me pause. Because I am not in the least bit that way. I have anxiety in new situations so I really think my anxiety comes off as being stuck up but it’s just that I need a few minutes to get comfortable with everyone before I open up. Then I let who I am shine through.

I always try not to make assumptions about who people are till they have shown me themselves. I always try to not listen when people tell me about someone that I haven’t meet yet. I am a pretty good judge of people and like to make up my own mind about them. Most people will show you in a short period of time who they really are inside. That’s what you need to pay attention to.

I know we have all been in the situation where people will tell you all sorts of stuff about someone. It’s up to you what you do with it. You have a few choices. You could: believe everything they are saying and go ahead and dislike this person before you set eyes on them. You could store the information for later and see who the person really is. Or you could let the information flow in one ear and out the other. It really is up to you.

Sometimes people are totally right about someone. Sometimes not so much. I would encourage you to take people as they come and to pay more attrition to what their actions say about them overall.
